About us
Proud Warrior Productions (PWP) was formed by four successful businessmen, all with an extensive background in martial arts and share a passion for sports entertainment.TOP

PWP Directors
Michael Spinks
Michael commenced Martial Arts training in 1970 and is a pioneer of Kickboxing in Australia. Michael has domestic and international experience as both a fighter and a trainer of professional fighters.
John ShimookaJohn is the Managing Director of Consolidated Sports Management which focuses on developing junior athletes into champions of the future. John is also a well accredited BJJ practitioner, gym owner and ex-WCT surfer.
Paul O’Neile
Paul started his Martial Arts training in 1993. Paul is CEO of Boost Mobile in Australia and a Director of several successful Australian and International businesses in the Telecommunications sector.
Heath McManus
Heath started his Martial Arts training in 1999 and is the former Australian Wrestling, Pankration and BJJ champion. Currently, Heath manages Business, Government and International clients as an Account Manager with Macquarie Hosting.

PWP Objectives
PWP is built on four key pillars:
The Match-up
PWP will match elite fighters from within Australia and utilise a network of national & international contacts to ensure the competitiveness of all bouts. PWP will match fighters in Kickboxing-K1 & MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) formats. All bouts will be evenly matched and competitive.
Entertainment
Bouts will be matched predominantly in two styles: Kickboxing-K1 & MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). The PWP arena will be a customised 5-rope ring designed for fighter safety and clarity of sight.
Both Kickboxing-K1 and MMA are extremely popular TV formats for both free-to-air and pay-TV worldwide. PWP will create a made-for-TV product featuring entertainment both inside the ring and between bouts.Recognition
Sponsors will be presented with the opportunity to increase their profile at the live show & the TV broadcast. Professional Kickboxing-K1 & MMA athletes to be recognised nationally with mainstream sports Eg NRL, A-League, professional boxers, surfers etc.
Credibility
The diverse experience of the PWP directors will ensure our events are delivered in an efficient & effective manner. The quality of PWP match ups will provide a credible platform for Australian fighters to fight overseas and for international fighters to fight in Australia against local talent.The media and entertainment potential of Kickboxing-K1 and MMA have not been achieved in Australia as they have in other parts of the world. PWP will introduce the entertainment factor and clear vision to the future to ensure this potential is achieved.
